Special Funds
Friends of Northern Arizona Forests has two special
funds that we will accept donations for. If you'd like
to donate to one of our special funds simply select it
from the list of projects on the donation form above.
Lawrence Aspen Protection Fund
Kenneth Lawrence, a resident of Phoenix, had come to love the forests around Flagstaff. When he died in October 2009, his widow, Jennifer Lawrence, asked that donations be made in his memory to FoNAF and that FoNAF use the money to support aspen protection and restoration. The fund has provided thousands of dollars to purchase supplies for repairing fences and for building new ones.
Levi Mitchell Memorial Fund
A veteran of the Iraq war and a forestry student at NAU, Levi Mitchell looked forward to studying aspen regeneration on the Schultz burn. In his memory, his family and his friends at NAU have established a fund to support rehabilitation of the Schultz burn.

For any donation of $25 or more, Friends of Northern
Arizona Forests will provide the donor with a written
acknowledgement and receipt.
The IRS has certified us as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Membership contributions and donations qualify as tax-deductible.
